The questions people ask before working with a personal brand studio — answered plainly, including the uncomfortable ones.

Getting started

What does a personal brand studio actually do?

We build and maintain how you show up online: a personal website, consistent professional profiles, and regular content in your voice.

You bring the expertise and the final say. We do the structuring, writing, design and publishing, so it doesn't become a second job.

Who is GoLiv for?

Mostly independent consultants, specialist advisers, technical and AI professionals, and senior corporate specialists.

If you have real expertise but your online presence hasn't kept up with it, you're who we built this for. See who we help, including who we're not the right fit for.

Which package should I start with?

Most people should start with Digital Identity (₹9,999 one-time).

It gives you a website, aligned profiles and a clear positioning. If you only need a credible link to share, Brand Website (₹4,999) is enough. Monthly content plans make the most sense once your foundations are in place.

How much of my time does it take?

About 45–60 minutes to begin, then 30–45 minutes a month on monthly plans, plus time to review drafts.

The first session is an interview about your work and goals. On monthly plans we run one short content interview (or strategy call on Brand Authority) each month, and you approve drafts in a shared document.

Pricing & payment

Are there any costs beyond the package price?

Yes: your domain name, hosting, and any paid tools or advertising you choose, which you pay for directly in your name.

A domain typically costs a few hundred to around a thousand rupees a year, and simple hosting can be free or low-cost; we'll recommend options before you buy anything. GST: not currently charged; we will tell you in writing before that ever changes.

Why is there a 6-month minimum on monthly plans?

Because consistency is the point, and research, voice-building and planning take a few months to pay off.

We show the total upfront (₹29,994 for Brand Presence, ₹59,994 for Brand Authority) so there are no surprises. After six months, plans continue month to month and you can cancel with 30 days' notice.

How do payments work?

One-time packages are 50% to start and 50% before launch; monthly plans are billed monthly in advance.

We'll send a written proposal with scope and payment details before you pay anything.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. Our published prices are in Indian rupees; for clients outside India we confirm a quote by email.

We work remotely and in English.

Content & your voice

Will the content sound like me — or like AI?

It should sound like you, because it starts from you: every piece is built from your interviews, examples and opinions.

We create a short voice guide during onboarding, and you approve every piece before it's published. We may use software tools to help with research or drafts, but a person edits everything, and nothing goes out without your approval.

What counts as one "content piece"?

One platform-ready post: a text post (up to about 300 words) or a single-image post with caption.

Richer formats count differently. On Brand Presence a carousel counts as two pieces; on Brand Authority it counts as one. The full table is on the pricing page.

Is it okay to have help writing my posts?

Most people consider it fine when the ideas, experience and final approval are genuinely yours — which is how we work.

We never invent achievements, credentials, clients or results for you, and we follow your employer's social-media policy if you have one.

Which platforms do you cover?

Usually LinkedIn plus one or two others that suit your audience, such as Instagram, X or YouTube (scripts only).

We recommend platforms based on where your clients or peers actually are, rather than trying to be everywhere.

Accounts, ownership & security

Do I have to give you my passwords?

No. We never ask for your passwords.

Where a platform supports it, you give us delegated access (for example, admin roles on a LinkedIn Page or Meta Business access) that you can remove at any time. For personal profiles, we either prepare posts for you to publish in one click or use a scheduling tool that you connect and control.

Who owns the website and the content?

You do. The domain and hosting are registered in your name, and once paid for, the website and the content we create for you are yours.

We keep the right to show anonymised or approved work in our portfolio only with your permission.

What happens if I stop working with you?

You keep everything: your website, domain, accounts and every piece of published content.

We hand over files and access notes, and remove any access you granted us.

Results & limits

Can you guarantee more clients, a new job or more followers?

No. Nobody honestly can, and we won't pretend otherwise.

We guarantee the quality and delivery of the agreed work: the website, the profiles, and the content on schedule. Outcomes like enquiries, job offers or reach depend on many things outside our control, including your market, your network and the platforms themselves.

Will my website rank on Google or appear in ChatGPT and other AI answers?

We build the foundations search engines and AI assistants rely on: clear, crawlable pages and consistent information about you. No one can guarantee how any search engine or AI system ranks, recommends or cites a person.

Google itself says there are no special tricks for its AI features — the basics of a well-built, useful, indexable site are what matter.

Do you buy followers, run engagement pods or automate messages?

No, never.

Fake followers, engagement pods and mass automated messaging break platform rules and can damage your reputation. Everything we do is something you'd be comfortable explaining to a client.

Are there professions you don’t work with?

For now we don't take on advocates or medical practitioners, because their professional bodies restrict advertising and solicitation in specific ways that need specialist advice.

We also decline work that relies on misleading claims.
